Terms and Conditions

Please take a few minutes to read the following terms and conditions set by piperidesigns.com to make our working relationship straight forward. These terms have to be agreed by you prior to commencement of work by our company (Piperidesigns). After discussing the initial planning process of web design / development, graphic design, printing etc, the contract will be given to you to sign. After agreeing to these terms and conditions, the work can be started by Piperidesigns.


General

The client agrees to supply the highest quality images and any other necessary materials. If the client does not have such resources, we will notify the client of any potential problems with the images. If the client decides to go ahead with our services and sign the contract, we cannot be responsible for inferior quality of final product. The client should have the legal right to reproduce any images supplied to us. We take no responsibility for the subsequent future withdrawal of the printing or web material if the images and other resources have been obtained illegally by the client. Please do not provide ‘cut and paste’ information or images from other websites unless the original source is credited.


Graphic design and printing

Prior to the printing process the client will be shown the final design to approve. If the client decides to add make any changes, a charge will be applied of £30 per additional hour (or part thereof). We cannot take responsibility for actual colour representation when the design is printed due to the printing process and unique colour mixing at the factory. Any issues of incorrect colour representation on final printing or any damage in the transit must be reported to us immediately. We are unable to take action after any more than 3 days after receipt of the goods.


Web design and development

The website will be built to your specifications. All the images and materials must to be supplied prior to the design and building process. We cannot guarantee to meet any deadline if the client supplies the required information later than agreed. After agreeing the initial design and layout of the site, the website will be built and uploaded to our server where the client will be asked to look and approve to the final product. After this approval the client will be required to settle any outstanding payment. The website cannot be used by the client until payment received in full. We cannot accept any responsibility for loss of business due to the website completion missing any deadline if the client has not paid any outstanding invoice.


Future support

Piperidesigns provides after support and maintenance your website. The minimal charge is £35 per hour (or part thereof). Any additional pages or change of images, banners etc will be treated as a new project and will be charged accordingly. When the website is handled over we cannot accept responsibility if the site is attacked by malicious software. Repairing or updating website will charged at £35 per hour (or part thereof).


Payment

Following initial discussions, the client must sign a contract which states all works that will be carried out by Piperidesigns. Upon signing this agreement the client agrees to pay an advance fee of 50% of the agreed total cost prior to any work commencing. Any printing or manufacturing costs must be paid in full before production. After the work commences, any advance fees cannot be refunded. When the work is completed the outstanding balance must be settled by the client within 5 working days. Failure to do this may result in additional interest charges.
We accept Credit / Debit card payment, Paypal or by cheque.
