News from the Go-Katz

17 June 2010 - Go-Katz Summer 2010 plans

It might seem a little quiet, but The Go-Katz have been busy rehearsing some new material, and one or two of the new songs will be in the set at the gigs in Berlin and Hamburg. The band is working toward recordings, and will be working on an album in Summer. There will be plenty of original new Go-Katz songs, along with a couple surprise cover songs. We will post more information soon.

Regarding gigs, The Katz hope to be back in Holland very soon and the dates will be posted here. We are also hoping to confirm some UK gigs in the near future.

26 March 2010 - Go-Katz line up for festival appearances

The Go-Katz are pleased to announce two Psychobilly Festival appearances for Spring / Summer 2010. The first is "Cradle To The Coffin" fest in Aiseau Presles, Belgium, with a great line-up including Bang Bang Bazooka (NL), Al & The Black Cats (USA), Krytonix (Fr), The Hellsonics and others.

12 March 2010 - First pix from the Manchester gig

Take a look at the latest pictures taken at the Satan's Hollow in Manchester. The Go-Katz are happy to present new guitar player Mr Janson Diamond (yes, it is his real name) who played his first show with us at this gig.

Doors open at 9pm. Bands finish around midnight, but DJs continue until 3am. Approx stage times are:

5 February 2010 - New live dates

The Go-Katz are pleased to announce that they are gigging again, kicking off with a UK date on Saturday 6th March, when they play at Satan's Hollow, Manchester, along with scene legends Frenzy. Bassman Dan is particularly excited as he is a big admirer of Steve Whitehouse.
April sees the band head off to Belgium again. On Friday 9th April, the Katz are guests of French Psychobilly band The Lucky Devils, with a gig very close to the Belgian/French border.
Saturday 10th April sees The Go-Katz line up alongside The Kyptonix, The Hellsonics, Bang Bang Bazooka and our American friends Al & The Black Cats for the "From The Cradle To The Coffin" Psychobilly fest.

1 September 2009 - NEW SINGLE!

The Go-Katz are pleased to announce the release of their new single "It's Not Fair" on Raucous Records (RAUCD 241). You can hear two of the songs on the music player above. The lead track is a cover of the Lily Allen hit. Veiw the video on the media page.

The CD is available now from www.raucousrecords.com and will become available from all other leading music stores in the coming weeks.
